Skills Sessions
Novice Skills Sessions
At this level, players will continue to develop into a complete player. The classes are great for those athletes that have some experience, want to play club ball or school team or just want to improve their individual skills. Skills for novice players focuses more on the development of individual skills. Novice Skills Training picks up the pace and introduces more aspects of the game like backdoor cuts and pick & rolls. Main focus is on the fundamentals - ball handling, shooting, passing, rebounding, defense and agility, and FOOTWORK!!.
Advanced Skills Sessions
These sessions challenge athletes, both physically and mentally, to push them selves to meet their basketball goals and objectives. If it is to be a leader of their team, play at the high school level or just to become a better player - these workouts will get them there.
With the Advanced Player in mind, we focus on all areas of the game with a high concentration on ball handling and finishing under pressure. AP moves to the advanced drills by implementing tools like tennis balls, medicine balls, resistance bands and heavy balls. Maneuvers like reverse lay ups, pocket passes, and step back footwork are areas covered in these sessions.
The Breakfast Club (HS and College Only)
The Breakfast Club is reserved for those Elite players planning to take their game to College and beyond. Including tools to keep up with the fast pace of Basketball - Dr. Dish Shooting Machine, Strength and Vertical Training, Vertimax, etc. Goal setting and tracking is included as well as discussions on nutrition and conditioning outside of the gym. This class focuses on both the physical and mental side of the game.
